TechFlow Continues Work with SPAWAR SSC Pacific!
TechFlow, Inc. was awarded a subcontract to provide the Space and Naval Warfare (SPAWAR) Systems Center (SSC) Pacific with software and systems engineering, design, development, configuration, integration, testing, and life-cycle support services as the incumbent prime contractor on Agile Defense, Inc.’s new five-year, $23.4M small business prime contract that was awarded on 5 April 2017. TechFlow’s task activities are needed to sustain and further develop the BMC Remedy Enterprise Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) system, infrastructure, supporting or enabling technologies, and related training that supports numerous agencies within the Department of Defense (DoD), the Department of the Navy (DoN), and Homeland Security.
TechFlow will continue its software and systems engineering support that it has been providing to the SSC Pacific Code 54330 ITSM Solutions project in San Diego, CA since its original contract award in September 2013. The Enterprise ITSM service offering is built using BMC Software, Inc.’s Remedy ITSM commercial off-the-shelf suite of applications. ITSM is based on Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL®) best practices, which focus on aligning IT services with the needs of business. ITSM consists of BMC Remedy ITSM service desk (incident and problem management), change management (including release), asset management, service level management, service request management, knowledge management, BMC Atrium™ Discovery and Dependency Mapping, Analytics, Dashboards, Configuration Management Database, and other enabling technologies.
ITSM provides a wide range of services to meet a variety of customer business needs, from linking warfighters to the source support providers, to enabling Navy Enterprise Data Centers to efficiently manage assets, changes, resources, and services to ensure the best possible levels of service quality and availability are maintained. ITSM is an agency-level enterprise toolset that customers use to effectively achieve their business IT service goals across their entire lifecycle – from cradle to grave.
TechFlow will deliver its successfully proven project management, engineering, and operations support capabilities to SSC Pacific, our Prime Contractor Agile Defense, and the various U.S. Navy, DoD, and Homeland Security organizations that rely on the SSC Pacific enterprise ITSM service offering to provide ITIL best practice-based capabilities in order to meet their mission objectives, while we serve over 300,000 users, maintain over 500,000 assets, and respond to over 1,000,000 service requests annually.
